Dance Parade 2007
Everyone at Metropolis in Motion wishes to congratulate all of the Dance Parade producers and volunteers on organizing a highly successful parade showcasing the beauty and diversity of dance in NYC. We're looking forward to Dance Parade 2008!
Please note that contrary to some press statements, Metropolis in Motion did not organize Dance Parade. Dance Parade is a separate non-profit organization. Metropolis in Motion marched in the parade and danced with everyone at the festival in Washington Square Park.
Some great DP photos from Tanya are here.

Speaking of us in the parade, here's a shot of our float by Boss Tweed on flickr. A cabaret law enforcement bureaucrat stands guard as dancers cavort inside our dancer-eating jail cell. Thanks to everyone who joined us, and the awesome folks at Rubulad, the group in front of us, who were frequently devoured.
